La situación económica actual del país, así como su coyuntura política, hace que sea cada vez más difícil conseguir un empleo fijo ya sea en el sector público como en el sector privado; esto ha generado la necesidad de que los profesionales busquen emprender e invertir en sus propios negocios o empresas, aportando al desarrollo del país y generando fuentes de empleo. El desarrollo de este trabajo tiene como finalidad aplicar los conocimientos y destrezas adquiridas durante los años de estudio para diseñar el proyecto de inversión y gerenciamiento que sea viable y que se pueda implementar. Laboratorio clínico San Carlos, ubicado en la ciudad de Sucúa; surge con la finalidad de satisfacer las necesidades de la población de contar con un servicio de exámenes médicos que ofrezca confianza, calidad, a un costo accesible, de tal manera que los habitantes no tengan que salir de la ciudad en busca de una mejor atención. Para conocer su viabilidad se ha realizado un análisis del entorno; seguido de un estudio de mercado lo cual ha permitido determinar la demanda insatisfecha, identificar a los potenciales clientes; y, determinar estrategias de ingreso al mercado. Posteriormente, se ha realizado un plan estratégico, delimitar la estructura interna, factores claves del éxito y el análisis FODA. Luego se realizó el estudio técnico y legal para establecer la localización óptima, distribución interna del local y equipos a utilizar; así como, tener presente los requisitos mínimos para el funcionamiento; finalmente, está el estudio económico financiero. Luego de realizar el diseño del proyecto de inversión y gerenciamiento del laboratorio clínico San Carlos, se puede concluir que el proyecto es viable.
The current economic situation of the country, as well as its political conjuncture, makes it difficult to get a permanent job either in the public sector or in the private sector; This has generated in the professionals the necessity to start and invest in their own businesses or companies. Contributing to the development of the country and generating sources of employment. The purpose of this work is to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during the years of study to design the investment and management project. Clinical laboratory San Carlos, located in the city of Sucúa; It arises in order to meet the needs of the population to have a medical examination service that offers confidence, quality, at an affordable cost, so that the inhabitants do not have to leave the city for a better care. In order to know its viability, an analysis of the environment has been started; followed by a market study which has allowed to determine the unsatisfied demand, identify potential customers; and, determine strategies of marketing. Subsequently, a strategic plan has been made, delimiting the internal structure, key success factors and the SWOT analysis. Then the technical and legal study was carried out to establish the optimal location, internal distribution of the office and equipment to be used; as well as, keep in mind the minimum requirements for operation; finally, there is the financial economic study. After carrying out the design of the investment and management project of the San Carlos clinical laboratory, it can be concluded that the project is viable.
