El presente estudio tiene como objetivo principal determinar la pre factibilidad para la producción de yogurt en polvo en el Cantón Mejía y su comercialización en la ciudad de Quito, con la finalidad de potenciar la zona ganadera del Cantón Mejía y aprovecharla en un producto nuevo y nutritivo, mediante la realización del estudio de mercado en 4 supermercados de la Corporación Favorita C.A., fue posible conocer la aceptación del producto, la demanda de yogurt en polvo, competencia y el precio aceptable por los clientes, a través del estudio técnico se estableció la capacidad instalada y utilizada de la planta, así como el proceso y equipo clave necesario para su operación, en el estudio administrativo se determina el marco legal, la estructura organizativa y funcional de la empresa, el estudio financiero indicará los costos reales del proyecto para ser evaluados financieramente y establecer mediante los indicadores de rentabilidad como son VAN y TIR si el proyecto es factible o no, además del estudio del impacto ambiental que tendrá el proyecto en el medio ambiente y la sociedad donde se localizará.
The purpose of this research is to determine the pre-feasibility for the production of yoghurt powder in Canton Mejia, and its commercialization in the city of Quito, in order to boost the cattle breeding in Mejia and make the most of it with a new a nutritional product, through the market study in 4 supermarkets of the Corporation Favorita C.A., it was possible to learn the acceptance of the product, the demand of yoghurt powder, the competition and the acceptable price for the costumers, a technical study showed the real and the used capacity of the plant, as well as the process and equipment necessary for its operation, the administrative research is to determine the legal framework, the organizational and functional structure of the company, the financial research will shows the real costs of the project, in order to be analyzed from the financial point of view and establish through the profitability indexes such as NPV and IRR whether the project is feasible or not, also, it was carried out the environmental research to determine the impact of the project in such level and in the society in which it will be located.
