La morbilidad bucal es un tema de suma importancia al realizar estudios en la rama odontológica, ya que son desencadenantes de numerosas patologías bucales y de trastornos fisiológicos. Se han elaborado diferentes programas de prevención en salud oral, dichos programas son llevados a tutela del MINISTERIO DE SALUD PÚBLICA, los cuales indican se realicen charlas educativas, campañas de prevención mediante profilaxis y fluorizaciones. En el SEGURO SOCIAL CAMPESINO, se emplea el fomento de prevención mediante educación para la salud, examen oral y las profilaxis y fluorizaciones como esquema de prevención. La prevalencia de la morbilidad en niños es un tema de preocupación y nos basamos en los exámenes realizados en la dentición de niños de 6-14 años, nos percatamos que hay un déficit de dentadura sana y existe la pérdida prematura de piezas dentales sean permanentes o deciduas de acuerdo a su cronología de erupción. Existen un sin número de patologías bucales que afectan la cavidad oral, el estudio se ha centrado a las principales de ellas, y se han clasificado de acuerdo a su incidencia en la población.
Oral morbidity is a highly important topic when performing studies in Dentistry; it is a trigger of numerous oral pathologies and physiological disorders. Different preventive oral health programs have been established and sought through by the MINISTRY OF PUBLIC HEALTH; these programs consist of educational forums and prevention campaigns using prophylaxis and fluoridations. The RURAL SOCIAL SECURITY promotes prevention by means of health education, oral examinations and prophylaxis and fluoridations as prevention strategies. The prevalence of oral morbidity in children is a topic for concern, and we base this on examinations performed on children between the ages of 6 and 14. We witnessed that there is a déficit of healthy teeth, and there is premature teeth loss of temporary or deciduous pieces. There is a great number of oral pathologies that affect the mouth; this study focused on the most important, and they have been classified according to their incidence in the study population.
