La empresa comercial Vidrios y Aluminios de Sucumbíos fue fundada en abril del año 1996 en el cantón Lago Agrio por el Señor Hernán Macas, quién descubrió la necesidad que tenían las personas de utilizar perfiles y accesorios de aluminio para sus construcciones, y, como en aquel entonces no existía en la provincia la comercialización de los mismos, por lo cual se dirigió a la ciudad de Quito, en donde hizo negocios con la marca CEDAL (Corporación Ecuatoriana de Aluminio), que le entregó la distribución exclusiva del producto aluminio y vidrio en la provincia de Sucumbíos, siendo en sus inicios la primera empresa que se dedicaba a esta rama del comercio, manteniéndose en tal condición por 8 años consecutivos siendo administrada durante 15 años por Hernán Macas, quién invirtió en este negocio cerca de 200.000 dólares, de los 70.000 fueron financiados por proveedores e instituciones financieras. Actualmente el propietario de la organización es el señor Gregorio Gaona, que adquirió la empresa en 2010, por un valor de 450.000 dólares, valor que comprendía la existencia de inventarios que tenía la empresa en ese momento La empresa con el pasar del tiempo ha logrado mantener su volumen de ventas e ingresos de la actividad comercial, pero hoy en día debido a la crisis económica que enfrenta se ve en la necesidad de mejorar los procesos de inventarios que posee, para brindar a la empresa la oportunidad de crecer y ganar más mercado en la industria, motivo por el cual se presente este trabajo de investigación orientado a ser una guía para el mejoramiento de dichos procedimientos mencionados anteriormente.
The commercial company Vidrios y Aluminios de Sucumbios was founded in April 1996 in the city of Lago Agrio by Mister Hernán Macas who discovered the need of the people to use profiles and accessories made of aluminum for their constructions. And as then did not exist the commercialization of this product in the province he went to the city of Quito where made businesses with the brand CEDAL (Corporacion Ecuatoriana de Aluminio) which delivered the exclusive distribution of aluminum and glass products in the province of Sucumbios. In the beginning it was the first company which was dedicated to this branch of trade, staying in this condition for 8 consecutive years and being administered by Hernán Macas for 15 years who invested in this company about 200.000 dollars, of the 70.000 were financed by providers and financial institutions. At the present time, the owner of the organization is Mister Gregorio Gaona who obtained the company in 2010, for a cost of 450.000 dollars, cost which covered the existence of inventories that the company had in that moment. With the passage of time the company has managed to keep its quantity of sales and revenues of the commercial activity. But nowadays, because of the economic crisis facing it, the company has to improve its processes of inventories. In order to give the company the opportunity to grow and gain more market in the industry is presented this investigative work oriented to be a guide for the improvement of the above mentioned procedures.
