La Unidad Educativa Bilingüe “Scotland School”, es una institución particular que fue creada en el año de 1997, abre sus puertas a la niñez en el año 2002 para la población de San Antonio de Pichincha en sus propias instalaciones, actualmente la institución no cuenta con el proceso adecuado que permita controlar el sistema de presupuesto para una adecuada segregación de los recursos económicos, debido a esta problemática se presenta el trabajo de investigación que propone un sistema presupuestario, el cual le permitirá evaluar y controlar los movimientos económicos de la Unidad Educativa, constituyéndose en una herramienta fundamental para la toma de decisiones adecuadas del Rector. La implementación de procedimientos para la elaboración del presupuesto en la Unidad Educativa es indispensable debido a que le permitirá realizar controles permanentes, el cual contribuirá a disminuir los problemas existentes, resolviéndolos en un menor tiempo, beneficiando esto a la toma de decisiones para que todas las áreas que conforman la institución cuenten con los recursos necesarios para el desarrollo de sus actividades.
The "Scotland School" Bilingual Educational Unit is a private institution that was founded in 1997. It opened its doors to the students in 2002 in the population of San Antonio de Pichincha in its own facilities. Currently the institution does not have the proper process to monitor the budget system for an adequate segregation of its financial resources. This research proposes a budget system that takes into consideration the above mentioned problem and which will allow the assessment and control of the monetary movements of the educational unit and will represent a fundamental tool for the rector´s appropriate decisions making. The procedures implementation for budget elaboration in the educational unit is essential because it will allow permanent controls which will help to reduce the problems and to solve them in a shorter time. This will benefit the decision making for all areas of the institution which will have the necessary resources for their activities development.
