La Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito “Huaicana” es una empresa dedicada a brindar servicios y productos financieros a la comunidad en los sectores rurales y marginales de la Parroquia de Nayón. El presente trabajo ofrece una guía para mejorar las actividades que se desarrollan dentro del departamento, con respecto a la concesión y recuperación de créditos otorgados a los clientes. En el primer capítulo se detalla los antecedentes, reseña historia y planificación estratégica de la Cooperativa. En el segundo capítulo se explica el análisis situacional de la Cooperativa, de esta forma se puede conocer cuáles son las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas que enfrenta la empresa. En el tercer capítulo se establece la definición del control interno y los componentes en es importante su aplicación en el departamento de crédito, por otra parte se explica la clasificación de las Cooperativas, tipos de créditos, etc. En el cuarto capítulo se da una propuesta, reestructurando el departamento de crédito con un nuevo organigrama mediante manual de funciones, manual de procedimientos y se diseña flujogramas de procedimientos en el área. En el quinto capítulo se detalla las conclusiones y recomendaciones de acuerdo a la investigación realizada durante el desarrollo del presente trabajo.
The cooperative of Savings and Credits “Huaicana” is a company dedicated to give financial services and products to the community in rural and marginal sectors of the Nayon parish. The present word offers a guide for the improvement of the activities that are developed in this department, referring to the concession and recovery of credits given to the customers. In the first chapter it is detailed the antecedents, review, history and the strategic planning of this company. In the second chapter, it is explained the situational analysis of the Cooperative, by this way are known the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that the company has. In the third chapter it is established the definition of the intenal control and the components because it is important its application in the credits department, on the other hand it is explained the classification of cooperatives, kinds of credits, etc. In the fourth chapter, it is given a proposal, restructuring the credits department with a new organization chart trough the functions manual and the procedures manual, and also in this chapter it is designed flow charts of procedures for this area. In the fifth chapter it is detailed the conclusions and recommendations in acoordance with the investigation made during the develop of the present work.
