En este proyecto se busca exactamente lo anterior, es decir darle una herramienta tecnológica funcional al Hospital León Becerra de Guayaquil para que puedan mejorar la calidad de su proceso de registro de pacientes en admisión, ya que los harían con mejor eficiencia al tener un sistema de software bien realizado. En otras palabras, desarrollar una reingeniería del proceso de registro del paciente en admisión. Dentro del área de admisión lo que se busca es usarla tecnología de forma que se permita brindar al paciente una correcta y mejor atención, que desde el momento de ingresar al hospital se le facilite el acceso al servicio por el cual ha venido, es por esto que se quiere que el registro de pacientes sea óptimo para así poder incluso hacer cambios de los puestos de trabajo y de organización del hospital.
