En este proyecto se elabora un catálogo con ilustraciones icónicas para representar los bienes patrimoniales más relevantes de la ciudad de Guayaquil. En primer lugar se procede a realizar una investigación documental para recopilar toda la información necesaria acerca de los patrimonios culturales existentes en la ciudad. Una vez que se obtiene la información, se realiza una investigación descriptiva para obtener datos por medio de metodologías de investigación cualitativa que consiste en realizar entrevistas a profesionales que tengan conocimiento del tema y por medio de la metodología cuantitativa se realizan encuestas para conocer los patrimonios culturales mayormente identificados. La tendencia de diseño para este proyecto consiste en la aplicación del estilo flat design y se basa en criterios de diseño gráfico para obtener la abstracción e iconización de los patrimonios culturales de Guayaquil permitiendo el rescate de la identidad de la ciudad.
In this project, a catalog with iconic illustrations is drawn up to represent the most important heritage assets of the city of Guayaquil. In the first place, a documentary research is carried out to collect all the necessary information about the cultural heritage existing in the city. Once the information is obtained, a descriptive investigation is carried out to obtain data through qualitative research methodologies that consist in carrying out interviews with professionals who have knowledge of the subject and through the quantitative methodology surveys are carried out to know the cultural heritages mostly identified. The design trend for this project consists of the application of flat design style and is based on graphic design criteria to obtain the abstraction and iconization of the cultural heritage of Guayaquil, allowing the rescue of the identity of the city.
