La economía colaborativa es una nueva tendencia que se esta posicionando en el turismo, especialmente en el sector hotelero. Sin embargo, estas plataformas no son bien vistas por este gremio debido a la informalidad por la que están caracterizados. Como parte del marco legal se pudo evidenciar que los departamentos que ofertan servicios turísticos de alojamiento se pueden formalizar mediante la Licencia Única Anual de Funcionamiento (LUAF) bajo la categorización de casa de huéspedes. Por otro lado, las herramientas utilizadas durante el levantamiento de información de esta investigación se utilizaron encuestas, entrevistas dirigidas a turistas guayaquileños, departamentos y un hotel de la ciudad de Cuenca. De los análisis de los resultados se determino que las personas que han sido parte de esta investigación muestran interés respecto a una posible alianza entre hoteles y departamentos tomando de referencia a la plataforma colaborativa Be Mate. Finalmente se propuso estrategias de las cuales derivan a un modelo de negocio que podría ser de gran ayuda para que se de una alianza entre hoteles y departamentos de alquiler turístico del Ecuador.
The collaborative economy is a new trend that is positioning itself in tourism, especially in the hotel sector. However, these platforms are not well seen by this guild due to the informality by which they are characterized. As part of the legal framework, it was possible to show that the departments that offer tourist services can be formalized through the Unique Annual Operating License (LUAF) under the category guest house. On the other hand, the tools used during the collection of information for this research were surveys, interviews aimed at Guayaquil tourists, departments and a hotel in the city of Cuenca. From the analysis of the results, it was determined that the people who have been part of this research show interest in a possible alliance between hotels and departments, taking the Be Mate collaborative platform as a reference. Finally, strategies were proposed from which they derive to a business model that could be of great help for an alliance between hotels and tourist rental departments in Ecuador.
