El vacío normativo en la legislación ecuatoriana referente a la prostitución, y su afectación en la seguridad jurídica.

La prostitución es un oficio practicado desde el inicio de la humanidad, que no ha sido regularizado en muchos países del mundo, en el Ecuador no existe una norma que la enmarque legalmente como una forma de trabajo debido a que se obtiene un ingreso económico, y tampoco está considerada como un delito, puesto que no es sancionada tras su ejecución, este vacío normativo afecta el ejercicio de la misma en cuanto a la dignidad y el derecho a un trabajo libre; aunque en esta actividad se encuentran inmersas varias organizaciones no existe una seguridad jurídica frente al ejercicio de la misma, aun cuando la Constitución de la República establece que deben existir normas claras, públicas y previsibles en el Art. 82; el Gobierno Nacional debe tomar acciones urgentes frente a esta vulneración de derechos de las que son objeto quienes ejercen esta actividad por el mismo hecho de no encontrarse regularizadas.
Prostitution is a trade practiced since the beginning of humanity, which has not been regularized in many countries of the world, in Ecuador there is no rule that legally frames it as a form of work because an economic income is obtained, and neither is it considered a crime, since it is not sanctioned after its execution, this normative vacuum affects the exercise of it in terms of dignity and the right to free work; Although several organizations are immersed in this activity, there is no legal certainty regarding the exercise of it, even when the Constitution of the Republic establishes that there must be clear, public and foreseeable regulations in Article 82; The National Government must take urgent action against this violation of rights of those who exercise this activity due to the fact that they are not regularized.
