El presente estudio tiene como fin la elaboración de un plan estratégico del producto turístico cacao centenario en los cantones Bolívar y Pichincha de la provincia de Manabí. Con la ayuda de la metodología del sistema turístico diseñado por Carla Ricaurte se pudo realizar el diagnóstico actual del destino, identificando los atractivos turísticos potenciales como es el caso de las plantaciones de cacao de fino aroma de origen centenario ubicadas en la comunidad Piedra de Plata; por otro lado, se realizó el mapeo de actores claves, en el que se identificaron a los actores inmersos en el desarrollo sostenible del destino. Por último, se diseñó el plan estratégico del producto turístico cacao centenario, el cual consta de estrategias que fueron identificadas en base a la matriz FODA cruzado y que a su vez cada estrategia consta de programas con sus respectivas fichas de proyectos para ser implementado dentro del producto turístico.
The following project has as a goal is to elaborate a strategic plan for the centennial cocoa product which is part of Bolívar and Pichincha Municipality at Manabí’s Province. With the support of the tourism system methodology designed by Carla Ricaurte, the current diagnosis of the destination was made, identifying potential tourist attractions such as the plantations of fine aroma cocoa of centennial origin located in the community Piedra de Plata. On the other hand, the assessment of key actors was carried out, in which the actors involved in the sustainable development of the destination were identified. Finally, the strategic plan for the centennial cocoa tourism product was designed, which consists of strategies that were identified based on the crossed SWOT matrix, and each strategy consists of programs with their respective project files to be implemented in the touristic product.
