El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar el relato noticioso en torno al paro nacional de octubre de 2019, impulsado por la CONAIE, en los medios con soporte digital GK y Primicias, del 2 al 10 de ese mes y año, con una investigación mixta. El enfoque investigativo fue mixto, pues se combinaron técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas; tanto para el primero como para el segundo objetivo específico, se utilizó el análisis de contenido cuantitativo, mismo que fue aplicado a una muestra de 51 piezas periodísticas, 27 de GK y 24 de Primicias. En el tercer objetivo específico de la investigación, se empleó de manera adicional al análisis de contenido cuantitativo, la entrevista semiestructurada, dirigida a tres expertos en periodismo. Dentro de los resultados más relevantes identificados en las piezas de GK, se encuentra que la mayoría de los relatos ofrece información precisa y objetiva, las fuentes son identificadas respectivamente y el titulo asimila de forma apropiada la información que se proporciona en el cuerpo de la noticia. En lo que respecta a Primicias, se identificó que todas las piezas analizadas cumplieron con el criterio de contextualización, exactitud , imparcialidad y ausencia de elementos de sensacionalismo. A través de la comparación realizada entre ambos medios y los hallazgos de la entrevista, se concluye que los relato s noticiosos de Primicias se han creado de la mejor manera y con una mayor calidad en contraste con las piezas de GK, pues existe trabajo de investigación, diversificación de fuentes y proporciona un mayor contexto de la noticia. Aunque, uno de los entrevistados expresó que GK está mejor escrito.
The objective of this study was to analyze the news story around the national strike of October 2019, promoted by CONAIE, in the media with digital support GK and Primicias, from the 2nd to the 10th of that month and year, with a mixed investigation. The investigative approach was mixed, since quantitative and qualitative techniques were combined; For both the first and the second specific objective, quantitative content analysis was used, which was applied to a sample of 51 journalistic pieces, 27 from GK and 24 from Primicias. In the third specific objective of the research, the semi-structured interview was used, in addition to the quantitative content analysis, directed at three experts in journalism. Among the most relevant results identified in the GK pieces, it is found that most of the stories offer accurate and objective information, the sources are identified respectively and the title appropriately assimilates the information provided in the body of the news. . Regarding Firsts, it was identified that all the pieces analyzed met the criteria of contextualization, accuracy, impartiality and absence of elements of sensationalism. Through the comparison made between both media and the findings of the interview, it is concluded that the news stories of Primicias have been created in the best way and with a higher quality in contrast to the GK pieces, since there is research work, diversification of sources and provides a greater context for the news. Although, one of the interviewees expressed that GK is better written.
