Actitud hacia la igualdad de género de los estudiantes de enfermería en una Universidad de Guayaquil.

Introducción: La igualdad de género además de ser un derecho del ser humano constituye uno de los pilares fundamentales para construir una sociedad con plena equidad en el ámbito social, político y cultural. Objetivo: Determinar la actitud de los estudiantes de enfermería de la UCSG hacia la igualdad de género. Población y muestra: 154 estudiantes universitarios quecumplen con los criterios de inclusión. Instrumento: Encuesta virtual, Cuestionario de preguntas escala Likert de actitudes de García Pérez. Resultado: Los estudiantes universitarios que participaron en el estudio en relación con la media de edad fue de 23 años, siendo el 73,5% mujeres y el 26,3% hombres de los cuales el 79,2% son solteros, aplicando el cuestionariode preguntas con la Escala Likert de actitudes de García Pérez se determinó que los estudiantes presentan un grado de sensibilidad al tema de igualdad de género y que los hombres presentan menor sensibilidad que las mujeres. Conclusión: En el presente trabajo se determinó que existe una actitud global adaptativa en las tres escalas (sociocultural, relacional y personal); sin embargo, se presentan actitudes sexistas sobre todo en el plano relacional enlo que hace referencia a los roles de género, violencia de género, liderazgo yafectividad, mientras que en el plano sociocultural se registran actitudesadaptativas y en el plano personal actitudes igualitarias.
Introduction: Gender equality in addition to being a human being's right constitutes one of the fundamental pillars for building a society with full equityin the social, political and cultural aspects. Objective: To determine the attitude of UCSG nursing students towards gender equality. Population and sample: 154 university students who meet the inclusion criteria. Instrument: Virtual survey, Questionnaire of questions Likert scale of attitudes by García Pérez. Result: The university students who participated in the study in relationto average age was 23 years old, 73.5% were women and 26.3% were men, of which 79.2% were single. Applying the questionnaire of questions with the Likert scale of attitudes of García Pérez, it was determined that students present a degree of sensitivity to the topic of gender equality and that the menpresent less sensitivity than women. Conclusion: In the present study it was determined that there is a global adaptive attitude in the three scales (sociocultural, relational and personal); however, sexist attitudes are presented especially in the relational level in reference to gender roles, gender violence, leadership and affectivity, while in the sociocultural level there are adaptive attitudes and in the personal level there are egalitarian attitudes.
