Las empresas optan por tomar esta nueva modalidad del teletrabajo, con el fin de brindar un mejor servicio y enseñar a sus trabajadores a poder estar en cualquier ubicación territorial, pero obligados a tener a la mano todas las herramientas que otorgue la entidad donde laboran. En el presente trabajo investigativo se realizó un estudio respecto a la modalidad actual del teletrabajo según la perspectiva de sus trabajadores durante la actual emergencia sanitaria del COVID-19, lo que permitirá conocer el impacto de las largas horas de trabajo que tienen y así generar una propuesta que pueda contribuir a una correcta implementación de la nueva modalidad del teletrabajo en Ecuador, haciendo foco en el empleador que debe respetar el derecho del ciudadano teletrabajador a desconexión, debido a que se evidencia la actual inconstitucionalidad respecto al tema, porque viola los derechos de los trabajadores.
Companies choose to take this new modality of telework, in order to provide a better service and teach their workers to be able to be in any territorial location but required to have at hand all the tools provided by the entity where they work. In this investigative work, a study was carried out regarding the current modality of telework according to the perspective of its workers during the current health emergency of COVID-19, which will allow to know the impact of the long hours of work they have and thus generate a proposal that can contribute to the correct implementation of the new teleworking modality in Ecuador, focusing on the employer who must respect the teleworker citizen's right to disconnect, because the current unconstitutionality regarding the issue is evident, because it violates the rights of Workers.
