El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la producción de biocombustible de palma africana como alternativa eficiente para el transporte de carga en la provincia del Guayas. El método aplicado es descriptivo, la investigación es cuantitativa. Se desarrolla el marco teórico acogiendo las teorías de los principales conceptos utilizados dentro de este documento, que permiten realizar el análisis sobre la eficiencia en el uso de biocombustible, se presenta definiciones de mercado, oferta y demanda, precios, costos, eficiencia, calidad de combustibles, tipos de combustibles alternativos ante los combustibles fósiles, economía sostenible. Se concluye que existe una incertidumbre debido a: cómo será el funcionamiento, la calidad del producto, el acoplamiento a su motor, cada uno de estos aspectos son parte de las dudas que tienen los transportistas a la hora de elegir entre el combustible tradicional fósil y la nueva propuesta del biocombustible de palma africana, pero existe un porcentaje de personas considerable teniendo en cuenta la encuesta desarrollada cuyo delimitante fueron los transportistas de carga pesada de la provincia del Guayas, que sí están interesadas en consumirla. El mercado de los biocombustibles se convierte en una alternativa en lo que concierne a los beneficios que generan al medio ambiente, disminuyendo la contaminación en el aire y, por ende, la afectación al ciudadano en general y en el costo de la producción.
This research work aims to analyze the production of biofuel from African palm as an efficient alternative for cargo transportation in the province of Guayas. The method applied is descriptive, the research is quantitative. The theoretical framework is developed, welcoming the theories of the main concepts used within this document, which allow the analysis of the efficiency in the use of biofuel, market definitions, supply and demand, prices, costs, efficiency, quality of fuels, types of alternative fuels before fossil fuels, sustainable economy. It is concluded that there is uncertainty due to how the operation will be. The quality of the product, the coupling to its engine, each of these aspects are part of the doubts that carriers have when choosing between traditional fossil fuel and the new proposal of biofuel of African palm, but there is a percentage of Considerable people, taking into account the survey carried out whose delimiting were the heavy-duty carriers of the Guayas province, who are interested in consuming it. The biofuels market becomes an alternative in terms of the benefits they generate with the environment, reducing air pollution and thus affecting the citizen in general and production.
