Se han realizado varios estudios acerca de la pobreza en sectores vulnerables de país, pero estos se han realizado de manera muy genérica donde poco o nada se ha aportado a la solución de las diferentes problemáticas que atrae la pobreza ecuatorianos. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo estudiar las variables de ingreso, consumo, ahorro y activos de la parroquia Barreiro del cantón Babahoyo. El método aplicado para esta investigación es el modelo de participación- acción donde se busca la participación de los involucrados (habitantes de la parroquia) para identificar cuáles son los diferentes problemas que afectan a sus ingresos, a que lo destinan, si tienen capacidad de ahorro y sus activos se encuentran en condiciones de servir como garantía para un préstamo de emprendimiento. Se levantó información con fuentes primarias como encuestas y entrevistas. Como conclusión principal se determina que el ingreso que perciben estos habitantes en muchos casos se encuentran por bajo, el57% ganan por debajo del salario básico unificado, agravando sus índices de consumo, incentivando la falta de conciencia hacia al ahorro . También esta investigación destaca como propuesta principal que se investigue de manera profunda este sector vulnerable de le economía ecuatoriana.
Several studies have been realized it brings over of the poverty in vulnerable sectors of country, but these they have been realized in a very generic way where little or nothing has been contributed to the solution of the different problematic ones that attracts the poverty Ecuadorians. This investigation has as aim study the variables of revenue, consumption, saving and assets of the parish Barreiro of the canton Babahoyo. The method applied for this investigation is the model of participation - action where there is looked the participation of the involved ones (inhabitants of the parish) to identify which are the diffe rent problems that concern his income, that destine it, if they have capacity of saving and his assets they are in conditions to serve as guarantee for a lending of entrepreneurship. . Information got up with primary sources like surveys and interviews. Since there decides principal conclusion that the revenue that they perceive these inhabitants in many cases are for down, el57 % wins below the basic unified salary, aggravating his indexes of consumption, stimulating the lack of conscience towards to the saving. Also this investigation stands out as principal offer that should investigate in a deep way this vulnerable sector of him Ecuadori an economy.
