El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como finalidad optimizar el estudio del derecho procesal dentro de las universidades del ecuador aplicando para el mismo la teoría unitaria del derecho procesal dentro de la malla curricular de las mismas, producto de lo cual se podrá optimizar además el estudio de otras materias que siendo diferentes y amplias se encuentran unificadas y se estudian únicamente durante uno o dos ciclos académicos; para lograr lo planteado se analizará el origen del derecho procesal como ciencia, así como su evolución para ser estudiado como lo conocemos hoy en día, de la misma manera se desarrollara de manera minuciosa la teoría unitaria del derecho procesal, se determinaran las razones por las cuales no se cree posible el estudio del derecho procesal como un todo y se disgregaran las mismas resaltando las ventajas y exigencias de la aplicación de esta teoría dentro de la malla curricular universitaria en nuestro país.
The present investigative work have the intention of optimize the study of procedural law in the universities of Ecuador by applying for it the unitary theory of procedural law within their curricular mesh, as a result of which the study of other subjects that being different and broad are unified and are studied only during one or two academic cycles; to achieve this, the origin of procedural law as a science will be analyzed, as well as its evolution to be studied as we know it today, in the same way the unitary theory of procedural law will be developed in detail, the reasons why which the study of procedural law as a whole is not considered possible and will be disaggregated highlighting the advantages and demands of the application of this theory within the university curriculum in our country.
