El presente proyecto de investigación analiza, la dirección de fotografía como factor importante dentro de la narrativa. El lenguaje visual empleado por los directores de fotografía influye como apoyo esencial a la narrativa, realzando aún más la historia y evocando emociones al público o espectador, a través de los distintos elementos de la composición cinematografía. Se escogió trabajar en este tema enfocado en el análisis de la serie Better call Saul, por la gran aceptación y reseñas positivas que ha obtenido. Esta elaborada composición audiovisual incluye ingredientes como, planos, enfoque, iluminación y color que además de ser un soporte al guion han logrado que Better call Saul destaque por su estilo visual único, que resulta de la inspiración tomada de grandes obras cinematográficas. A través del estudio de la serie estadounidense, Better call Saul y mediante entrevistas realizadas a dos expertos en el área de dirección de fotografía, se expondrá lo importante que es la acertada utilización de los distintos recursos para generar sentimientos o impresión en el espectador.
This research project analyzes in the first part, the direction of photography as an important factor within the narrative. The visual language used by cinematographers influences as an essential support to the narrative, further enhancing the story and evoking emotions to the public or viewer, through the different elements of the cinematographic composition. It was chosen to work on this topic due to the great acceptance and positive reviews received by the series. This elaborate audiovisual composition includes ingredients such as planes, focus, lighting and color that, in addition to being a support for the script, have made Better call Saul stand out for its unique visual style, which is inspired by great cinematographic works. Through the study of the American series, Better call Saul and through interviews with two experts in the field of cinematography, the importance of the correct use of different resources to generate feelings or impressions in the viewer will be exposed.
