Esta investigación busca ser una propuesta que ayude a resolver el crecimiento de la asociación agrícola Muyuyacu mediante un proyecto de inversión que aproveche la pasta de cacao que producen los socios de manera artesanal, para ello, se realizaron encuestas a consumidores de chocolate en sus diversas formas en principales puntos de distribución, que permitan estimar la posibilidad de producir unabarra de chocolate fortificada con cereales, los resultados procesados por medio de estadísticas descriptivas y cruce de variables permiten entender que es posible realizar un proyecto de aprovechamiento del cacao en pasta que produce la asociación, preservando la condición artesanal para distribuirlo en la provincia de El Oro con especial atención en la ciudad de Machala.
This research seeks to be a proposal that helps to solve the growth of the agricultural association Muyuyacu through an investment project that takes advantage of the cocoa paste produced by the partners in an artisan way. For this, surveys were carried out on consumers of chocolate in their various forms In the main points of distribution, which allow to estimate the possibility of producing a bar of chocolate fortified with cereals, the results processed through descriptive statistics and crossing of variables allow to understand that it is possible to realize a projectof exploitation of the cacao in paste that produces the Association, preserving the artisanal condition to distribute it in the province of El Oro with special attention in the city of Machala.
