El presente trabajo de tesina es: “Medidas de Protección Aplicadas en el Ámbito de la Justicia en Casos de Maltrato Infantil”. Se investigó como organismo de protección a la Junta Cantonal de Protección de Derechos del Cantón La Libertad en el ámbito de la Niñez y de la Adolescencia. Las competencias de la autoridad al dictar las medidas sancionadoras a personas responsables del maltrato al menor, que generalmente se da en su propio núcleo familiar; pero sin embargo en la práctica de conformidad con los casos que han sido estudiados estas medidas resultan ser levísimas, por lo que se requiere que sean modificadas. Es importante que existan medidas de prevención social respecto al maltrato a menores, consagradas por el Estado ecuatoriano, la Sociedad en general y la Familia principalmente, al ser medidas administrativas de protección otorgada al menor que sufre diferentes formas de maltrato como maltrato por negligencia, maltrato psicológico, maltrato físico, maltrato sexual, entre otras formas de maltrato. El maltrato intrafamiliar realizado por personas del entorno del menor donde se presenta una violación de sus derechos. Por lo que resulta necesario incorporar una reforma al Código de la Niñez y de la Adolescencia, en razón a las medidas administrativas de protección.
This thesis work is: "Administrative Protection Measures in Case of Child Abuse in the Canton Libertad". The Cantonal Board for the Protection of Rights of the Canton La Libertad in the field of Children and Adolescents was investigated as a protection agency. The powers of the authority when dictating sanctioning measures to persons responsible for the mistreatment of minors, which generally occurs in their own family nucleus; However, in practice, according to the cases that have been studied, these measures turn out to be very slight, which is why they need to be modified. It is important that there are social prevention measures regarding the abuse of minors, enshrined by the Ecuadorian State, Society in general and the Family mainly, as they are administrative measures of protection granted to minors who suffer different forms of abuse such as abuse due to negligence, psychological abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, among other forms of abuse. Abuse carried out by people from the minor's, environment where there is a violation of their rights. Therefore, it is necessary to incorporate a reform to the Code for Children and Adolescents, to administrative protection measures.
