El siguiente trabajo de titulación presenta la propuesta de un museo sobre la historia de Guayaquil para todo tipo de usuario, el cual su ubicación es en la "Ciudad del río" dentro de la ciudad de Guayaquil. El motivo de esta propuesta es la necesidad de brindar un museo que contribuya al desarrollo y consolidación de la cultura ecuatoriana ayudando a recordar el espacio de la antigua Guayaquil, con especial énfasis en la identidad de Guayaquil. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se analizó el medio construido existente, las condiciones climáticas del lugar y el perfil de usuario obtenido al visitar el terreno, todo esto con el propósito de recolectar los datos necesarios para formular un partido arquitectónico que responda las estrategias y condicionantes del terreno. La propuesta tiene como objetivo satisfacer las necesidades de los usuarios, sugiriendo espacios de ocio, trabajo y descanso en un mismo procedimiento, y al mismo tiempo a través de espacios de convivencia, áreas colectivas y espacios públicos, pero lo más importante es conectar a los usuarios con el entorno y proponer proyectos culturales como el eje que conecta elementos ambientales existentes como el río Guayas y los espacios públicos.
The following degree work presents a proposal of a museum on the history of Guayaquil for all types of users, which is located in the "Ciudad del río" within the city of Guayaquil. The reason for this proposal is the need to provide a museum that contributes to the development and consolidation of Ecuadorian culture, helping to remember the space of the old Guayaquil, with special emphasis on the identity of Guayaquil. For the development of the project, the existing built environment, the climatic conditions of the place and the user profile obtained when visiting the land were analyzed, all this with the purpose of collecting the necessary data to formulate an architectural match that responds to the strategies and conditions of the ground. The proposal aims to satisfy the needs of users, suggesting spaces for leisure, work and rest in the same procedure, and at the same time through living spaces, collective areas and public spaces, but the most important thing is to connect users with the environment and propose cultural projects as the axis that connects existing environmental elements such as the Guayas River and public spaces.
