En el presente trabajo se va a desarrollar el motivo o la problemática existente en torno al pago que se les da a los artistas musicales en o desde Ecuador. Es decir, se va a concientizar sobre lo que incluye la digitalización musical, al ser el método más común y práctico utilizado actualmente gracias al desarrollo de la tecnología y las civilizaciones, además del correcto procedimiento de las distribuidoras, para que se les reconozca las regalías que corresponden a la propiedad intelectual de los artistas, las leyes que los avalan y si es o no proporcional el valor que reciben por parte de la república ecuatoriana. Sin embargo, percibimos la falta de leyes que regulen esta figura en Ecuador, por lo tanto, se le hace un pedido al Consejo Regulador de la Superintendencia de Control del Poder de Mercado el cual debería emitir una regulación para poder justificar dichas tarifas. Es decir, dar un vistazo a la realidad actual de los artistas, tanto ecuatorianos como internacionales, y si está debidamente motivado el porcentual que reciben.
In this work we will develop the reason or the existing problem around the payment that is given to musical artists in or from Ecuador. That is, it will raise awareness about what musical digitization includes, being the most common and practical method currently used thanks to the development of technology and civilizations, in addition to the correct procedure of the distributors, so that they are recognized the royalties that correspond to the intellectual property of the artists, the laws that endorse them and whether or not the value they receive from the republic is proportional. Ecuadorian. However, we perceive the lack of laws that regulate this figure in Ecuador, therefore a request is made to the Regulatory Council of the Superintendence of Market Power Control which should issue a regulation in order to justify such rates. That is, to take a look at the current reality of artists, both Ecuadorian and international, and if the percentage they receive is duly motivated.
