Description: The city of Quito faces issues like the increase of garbage produced by residents, the poor management of waste, the risks to the human health and the environment that this entails, and the lack of a culture of recycling. These problems have justified the need to create an informative animation to inspire people to get more involved with recycling. The video aims to inspire people to create art, utensils and things by recycling materials and waste. This thesis includes details on the various stages of pre-production, production, post-production and animation techniques. As well as a qualitative research about the impact of the video in a selected group.
El actual escenario en Quito, en relación al aumento de basura producida por los habitantes, el mal manejo de los desechos en general, el permanente riesgo para la salud humana y ambiental que esto significa y la falta de una mejor cultura de reciclaje, ha causado la necesidad de crear un video informativo que inspire a las personas a involucrarse más con el reciclamiento. El video pretende inspirar a las personas a crear arte, utensilios y cosas reciclando materiales y desechos Inorgánicos. Respecto a la parte práctica del proyecto se presentan detalles de las fases de pre-producción, producción, post-producción, estilos y técnicas de animación. Así como una investigación cualitativa sobre el impacto del video en un grupo seleccionado.
