Drawing on discourse analysis as theoretical framework and methodology, the following essay points out the details of the gender perspective inscribed within Rafael Correa‟s enunciations, throughout his consecutive presidential terms, deepening the discussion around the second term 2013- 2017. In order to achieve this objective, three Enlaces Ciudadanos were selected, in accordance with the applied methodology, and a radio interview with the purpose of analyzing those conceptual taxonomies, which are described by contemporary gender theories; such as heteronormativity, performative acts and patriarchy. These belong to the conceptualization of the “new gender ideologies”, which encapsulate a conservative and traditional tone of the actor and in the society. In Addition, these taxonomies let to understand the instrumentalization of the discourse process done by the actor and the relation of this process with the public policy Plan Familia and the actors understandings.
Basándose en el análisis de discurso como teoría y metodología de estudio, el presente ensayo analiza los detalles de la perspectiva de género inscrita en las enunciaciones de Rafael Correa, a lo largo de sus periodos presidenciales consecutivos, centrándose la discusión en el último (2013-2017). Para lograr este objetivo, tres Enlaces Ciudadanos fueron seleccionados, según algunos parámetros metodológicos, y una entrevista radial con el fin de analizar en estas, taxonomías conceptuales que forman parte de las teorías de género; tales como: heteronormatividad, actos performativos y patriarcado. Estas corresponden a la conceptualización de las “nuevas ideologías del género” que visibilizan un tono conservador y tradicional del actor y en la sociedad. Asimismo, permiten entender el proceso de instrumentalización del discurso y la relación de este con la política pública Plan Familia y con el entendimiento del género de este actor.
