Description: The work that I have done has the following objectives: analysis of the trademark regulation that is applicable in Ecuador, carrying out a legal and doctrine investigation of trademarks; establishing the procedure that must be followed for the registration of a trademark and several actions that can be filed; point out, as from a personal point of view, certain recommendations to render the procedure of registration of trademarks more efficient; establishing if the Ecuadorian laws protect adequately and correctly the trademark rights; and to be a useful tool for person who are familiarized with the registration of trademarks and for those who are not.
