Indie, beyond being a genre, covers a way to create, for that this movement emerged in the years 80, arriving to Latin America where the experimentation of sounds is deepened more and was incorporated certain elements of popular music, later was born the movement of women in the Latin American indie. Not Everything You Can Give (Deluxe), published in 2014 by Ximena Sariñana, Mexican artist and musician, is an album that experience and fuses elements of popular music with resources from the pop and indie, experiencing various sounds and to approach the theme of love and heartbreak, this presenting a journey through these two feelings through the compositions. The focus of this work is the melodic, harmonic analysis, formal and lyrical of four specific topics chosen from the album Not Everything You Can Give (Deluxe), where you will identify those elements, and which will be applied in four compositions. The methods that were applied to this work are: document procedure (information gathering) and the aural analysis (for the transcription of the selected themes of the album).
El indie, más allá de ser un género musical, abarca una forma de crear, es así como este movimiento, surgió en los años 80, llegando a Latinoamérica donde la experimentación de sonidos se profundizo más y se le incorporó ciertos elementos de la música popular, posteriormente, naciendo el movimiento femenino en el indie latinoamericano. No Todo lo Puedes Dar (Deluxe), publicado en 2014 por Ximena Sariñana, artista y músico mexicana, es un álbum que experimenta y fusiona elementos de la música popular con recursos del pop e indie, probando diversas sonoridades y abordando el tema del amor y desamor presentando así un viaje por estos dos sentimientos mediante las composiciones. El enfoque de este trabajo es el análisis melódico, armónico, formal e instrumental, de cuatro temas específicos escogidos del álbum No Todo lo Puedes Dar (Deluxe), donde se identificarán estos elementos, y los cuales serán aplicados en cuatro composiciones. Los métodos que se aplicaron para este trabajo son: método documental (recopilación de información) y el análisis aural (para la trascripción de los temas seleccionados del álbum).
