The purpose of this report is to present the analysis and results obtained from the research carried out to the facial recognition system to control access to the laboratory of the systems school of the Bolivar State University. At the beginning of the investigation, teachers and students must enter the laboratory without any control or registration, in the event that the laboratory remains uninsured, anyone who has access to it and consequently there is hardware and software damage due to incorrect of the teams. On some occasions, personal items forgotten in the laboratory were lost due to the fact that they did not have a record of those who entered the laboratory and consequently caused discomfort in the teaching staff and students. As formulation of the problem, the following are raised: What are the factors that affect the absence of a security system for the registration and control of access to the laboratory of the School of Systems of the State University of Bolivar prior to the implementation of the system of facial recognition? With the facial recognition system, the control of the entrance to the laboratory is improved, reducing the damages in the laboratory and the loss of goods, in addition to avoiding the use of keys or keys, access to the laboratory is strictly with a teacher. The validation of teachers is performed with a comparison of matrices generated by the system, obtaining as a result the registration of teachers who entered the laboratory, the comparison is made with the creation of matrices that is compared with the Eigenfaces method which proceed to Transform a digital image into a single matrix.
El presente informe tiene como fin dar a conocer los análisis y resultados obtenidos de la investigación realizada al sistema de reconocimiento facial para el control del acceso al laboratorio de la escuela de sistemas de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar. Al inicio de la investigación los docentes y alumnos procedían a ingresar al laboratorio sin ningún control ni registro, en el caso que el laboratorio permaneciera sin seguro cualquier persona tenía acceso a él y por lo consecuente existían daños de hardware y de software por la incorrecta manipulación de los equipos. En algunas ocasiones se perdían objetos personales olvidados en el laboratorio por consecuencia que no se tenía un registro de quienes ingresaron al laboratorio por lo consecuente causaba molestia en el personal docente y alumnos. Como formulación del problema se plantea lo siguiente ¿Cuáles son los factores que inciden con la inexistencia de un sistema de seguridad para el registro y control del acceso al laboratorio de la Escuela de Sistemas de La Universidad Estatal de Bolívar previo a la implementación del sistema de reconocimiento facial? Con el sistema de reconocimiento facial mejora el control de ingreso al laboratorio, reduciendo los daños en el laboratorio y la perdida de bienes además se evita el uso de llaves o claves el acceso al laboratorio es estrictamente con un docente. La validación de los docente se la realiza con una comparación de matrices generadas por el sistema, obteniendo como resultado el registro de los docente que ingresaron al laboratorio, la comparación se la realiza con la creación de matrices que se obtienen con el método Eigenfaces el cual procede a transformar una imagen digital en una única matriz.
