This research was conducted in the Tungurahua Province Tisaleo Canton, where the objectives were to determine the dominant chromology of the horse Tisaleo Canton , determine the variables szoometric of the horse area , set the number of copies that exist in the research area and the methodology used was phenotypically describe the criollo horse was studied for the experimental portion 103 native horses was used from two years of age of different sexes in which we divided the 103 animals in three groups of 2 to 6 years , 7 to 15 and over 15 years in which the population of horses there at the age of 7 to 15 years followed by the animals aged 2 to 6years and animals over the last 15 years and zoometric criollo measures are as follows with a wither height of 132.62 cm, chest circumference of 158 , 64, 118,05cm length of the animal, the height of members 127,07cm later, head length is 49.46 cm, 66.68cm length of neck and years 13,15cm length , noting that is the average size , the colors of the animals are criollo color black face with white -fronted color, tail and mane is black colored capesd vary between black and white and we characterize the canton Tisaleo, criollo horse.
Esta investigación se llevó a cabo en la provincia Tungurahua, cantón Tisaleo, en la cual los objetivos planteados fueron conocer la cromologia dominante del caballo criollo del cantón Tisaleo, determinar las variables zoometricas del caballo criollo de la zona, establecer el numero de ejemplares que existen en el área de investigación y la metodología que utilizamos fue describir fenotípicamente al caballo criollo objeto de estudio, para la parte experimental se utilizó 103 caballos criollos a partir de los dos años de edad de distintos sexos en los cuales le dividimos a los 103 animales en tres grupos, de 2 a 6 años, de 7 a 15 años y mayores de 15 años en los cuales la mayor población de equinos existen en la edad de 7 a 15 años seguido de los animales de edad de 2 a 6años y por último los animales mayores de 15 años y las medidas zoometricas de los animales criollos son las siguientes con una altura a la cruz de 132,62 cm, el perímetro torácico de 158, 64, longitud del animal 118,05cm, la altura de los miembros posteriores 127,07cm, longitud de cabeza es de 49,46 c m, longitud de cuello 66,68 cm, y la longitud de orejas 13,15cm, recalcando que es las medidas medias, los colores de los animales los animales criollos son de color negro con la cara de color careto, la cola y crin es d color negro los cabos varían entre negro y blanco así caracterizamos al caballo criollo del área de estudio
