The scientific and technological advances in recent decades have found profound changes in all spheres of human living, which is why education has not kept outside the inclusion of Information Technology and Communication in management processes and institutional especially in the learning of students. Under this consideration, this paper grade entitled THE USE OF ICT IN ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE AREA OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE freshmen BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL "FELIX farm" Simiátug PARISH, GUARANDA CANTON, PROVINCE Bolivar in the 2011-2012 school year responded to the need to motivate teachers and students of the National College Felix Farm to use ICT in learning language arts area. The information technology and communication (ICT) have become part of the reality of human action, even more youth who has grown up in this digital age. Staying connected not only to learn about global developments is the function but use within classrooms, computers interact via the student with his teacher, peer or intervening in a discussion, clarifying ideas or reinforcing existing ones are some of the benefits of the application of ICT in the lives of students. The teacher is the one who must find a way to reach the student, constantly motivated to keep learning that are given are enduring. If in the hands of ICT teachers are applied daily to a strategy and transform their pupils in their own learning actors because they are the protagonists in education and with these tools can reduce the digital gap in benefit exclusively students. The research report is divided into chapters and pages is preliminary: Theme, Background, the problem with their analysis, justification, objectives, assumptions, variables and their respective operationalization. Chapter I contains theoretical framework called the theoretical framework of the research work extending the study variables with scientific theory, conceptual theory in which conceptualized the terms used in the development of labor, referential theory containing references investigative with the proposed theme, Legal Theory is the lift that strengthens the work and that legally protects its performance and situational theory outlined in the institution where the research is conducted. Chapter II called RESEARCH METHODOLOGY contains: research methods: by the way, by the level of study and the place, universe and sample specified in units of observation techniques and instruments used to collect data; Plan Collection of Information; Plan for information processing, and the methods used to achieve the completion of the work. Chapter III called DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS OF RESULTS contains: quantitative aspects analysis, interpretation of results, conclusions and recommendations of the instruments that are displayed as a solution to the problem. Also comprise the entire bibliography which covers the work, the annexes as specific evidence and the proposed solution to the problem.
Los avances científicos y tecnológicos de las últimas décadas han determinado profundas transformaciones en todos los ámbitos del convivir humano, es por ello que la educación no se ha mantenido ajena a la inclusión de las Tecnología de la Información y Comunicación en los procesos de gestión institucional y sobre todo en la enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Bajo esta consideración, el presente trabajo de grado titulado LA UTILIZACIÓN DE LAS TIC EN EL RENDIMIENTO ACADÉMICO DEL ÁREA DE LENGUA Y LITERATURA DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL NOVENO AÑO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA DEL COLEGIO “FELIX GRANJA” DE LA PARROQUIA SIMIATUG, DEL CANTÓN GUARANDA, PROVINCIA BOLÍVAR EN EL AÑO LECTIVO 2011-2012 respondió a la necesidad de motivar a los docentes y estudiantes del Colegio Nacional Félix Granja a utilizar las TIC en el aprendizaje del área de Lengua y Literatura. Las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), se han convertido en la realidad parte del accionar del ser humano, más aun de la juventud quien ha nacido y crecido en esta era digital. El permanecer conectado no solamente para enterarse de novedades mundiales es la función sino utilizarlas dentro de las aulas de clase, interactuar por medio de ordenadores el estudiante con su maestro, entre compañeros o interviniendo en una discusión, aclarando ideas o reforzando las existentes son algunas de los beneficios que tiene la aplicación de las TIC en la vida del estudiantado. El docente es quien debe buscar la manera de llegar al estudiante, de mantenerlo motivado constantemente para que los aprendizajes que se den sean perdurables. Si en las manos de los maestros están las TIC para poder aplicar diariamente una estrategia y transformar a sus pupilos en actores de sus propios aprendizajes pues ellos son los protagonistas en la educación y con estas herramientas se podrá disminuir la brecha digital en beneficio exclusivamente de los estudiantes. El informe de la investigación está estructurado por capítulos y en las páginas preliminares se encuentra: el Tema, Antecedentes, el Problema con su respectivo análisis, Justificación, Objetivos, Hipótesis, variables y su respectiva operacionalización. El Capítulo I denominado MARCO TEÓRICO que contiene la sustentación teórica del trabajo de investigación ampliando las variables de estudio con su teoría científica, Teoría Conceptual en la que se conceptualizan los términos que se emplean en el desarrollo del trabajo, Teoría Referencial que contiene las referencias investigativas con el tema propuesto, Teoría Legal es la sustentación que fortalece el trabajo y que se ampara legalmente para su realización y Teoría Situacional en la que se esboza a la institución en la que se realiza la investigación. El Capítulo II llamado METODOLOGÍA DE LA INVESTIGACIÓN contiene: Modalidades de investigación: por el Propósito, por el nivel de Estudio y por el lugar; Universo y muestra en la que se especifica las unidades de observación; Técnicas e Instrumentos a emplearse para la recolección de datos; Plan de Recolección de la Información; Plan para el procesamiento de la información; y, los Métodos empleados para lograr la culminación del trabajo. El Capítulo III denominado ANÁLISIS Y DISCUSIÓN DE RESULTADOS contiene: Análisis de aspectos cuantitativo, Interpretación de resultados, conclusiones obtenidas de los instrumentos y recomendaciones que se visualizan como solución al problema. También constan las referencias bibliográficas completas en las que se ampara el trabajo, los anexos como evidencias específicas y la propuesta en solución al problema.
