El presente trabajo de investigación denominado: LA WEBQUEST EN EL PROCESO DE COMUNICACIÓN DIDÁCTICA PARA DESARROLLAR HABILIDADES COGNITIVAS, EN LOS ESTUDIANTES DEL SÉPTIMO AÑO DE EDUCACIÓN BÁSICA MEDIA DE LA ESCUELA JUAN CELIO SECAIRA,DE LA CIUDAD DE SAN JOSÉ DE CHIMBO DE LA PROVINCIA DE BOLÍVAR, DURANTE EL PERÍODO LECTIVO 2012-2013, aborda una temática que está en correspondencia con las características que exigen las ciencias informáticas, es preciso reconocer que la tecnología otorga beneficios tanto económicos, sociales, pedagógicos como culturales a quienes las utilizan apropiadamente. Actualmente han ido surgiendo interesantes experiencias educativas innovadoras que han integrado las tecnologías de la infor¬mación y la comunicación en procesos formativos, en metodologías ac¬tivas y participativas, y en actividades de aprendizaje dirigidas a los y las estudiantes. Estas iniciativas e innovaciones tienen su origen en el interés del pro¬fesorado por mejorar su docencia y, por tanto, el aprendizaje de los y las estudiantes; en la progresiva incorporación de las TIC en los centros educativos, es importante que los estudiantes desarrollen la capacidad de aprender y adaptarse en la sociedad actual, sociedad de la información y el conocimiento, una webquest es un modelo didáctico de búsqueda y elaboración de la información usando más apropiadamente los recursos de Internet. El capítulo I, aborda la fundamentación teórica, el posicionamiento intelectivo y científico que interviene en la contextualización de la sociedad de la información,el proceso mediador pedagógico y las habilidades cognitivas, con el propósito de denotar las características que aportan en la generación de estrategias de cambio implícitas en la formación de estudiantes críticos,razonadores, reflexivos, creativos e innovadores en el proceso de intervención educativa. Elcapítulo II, hace énfasis en la metodología que caracteriza a la investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa: métodos, técnicas, procedimientos, universo investigado, así como la generación de estrategias de cambio reveladas a partir de un diagnóstico fáctico, que aportará al desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas en los estudiantes, durante el proceso de comunicación didáctica. El capítulo III, mediante la aplicación de instrumentos de recolección de información: encuestas a 10 docentes , 30 estudiantes y entrevista a la autoridad de la escuela Fiscal Juan Celio Secaira, de la ciudad de Chimbo, mediante el método hipotético-deductivo se presenta una estadística básico-descriptiva: cuadros de frecuencias absoluta, gráficos de barras, así como, la interpretación respectiva, con el propósito de comprobar la valoración causal que ocasionan las deficiencias en el proceso pedagógico de formación en los estudiantes.
This research project called: THE WEBQUEST IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO DEVELOP cognitive STUDENTS IN THE SEVENTH YEAR OF BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOL MEDIA CELIO Secaira JUAN OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE DE CHIMBO OF THE PROVINCE OF BOLIVAR During the period 2012-2013 LECTIVO addresses a subject that is in line with the characteristics required by computer science, we must recognize that technology gives both economic, social, educational and cultural benefits to those who use them properly. Currently they have emerged interesting innovative educational experiences that have integrated technology and communication infor¬mación training processes in ac¬tivas and participatory methodologies, and learning activities to the students. These initiatives and innovations have their origin in the interest of self pro¬fesorado to improve their teaching and therefore learning of the students; the progressive incorporation of ICT in schools, it is important that students develop the ability to learn and adapt in today's society, information society and knowledge, a webquest is a teaching model search and information processing using Internet resources more appropriately. Chapter I deals with the theoretical foundation, the intellectual and scientific positioning involved in the contextualization of the information society, the pedagogical mediation process and cognitive skills, in order to denote the characteristics that contribute in generating strategies change implicit in the formation of critics, thinkers, reflective, creative and innovative in the process of educational intervention students. Elcapítulo II, emphasizes the methodology that characterizes the quantitative and qualitative research: methods, techniques, procedures, researched universe, as well as generating change strategies revealed from a factual diagnosis, which contribute to the development of cognitive skills students during didactic communication. Chapter III, by implementing data collection instruments: surveys of 10 teachers, 30 students and interview to the authority of the Attorney John Celio Secaira school in the city of Chimbo, through hypothetical-deductive method presents a statistical basic-descriptive: absolute frequency tables, bar graphs, as well as their respective interpretation, in order to verify the causal assessment that cause deficiencies in the educational process of training students.
