Nuestro tema de investigación se denomina: EVALUACIÓN DE LA MALLA CURRICULAR EN LA FORMACIÓN DE LICENCIADAS/OS EN CIENCIAS DE LA ENFERMERÍA DE LA UNIVERSIDAD ESTATAL DE BOLÍVAR EN LA CIUDAD DE GUARANDA, PERIODO 2012 -2013, el mismo que está acompañado de su respectivo antecedente que a groso modo dice: La escuela de enfermería se fundó en el año de 1989, desde ahí se crea la primera malla curricular Escalonada con la que se inicia la formación del estudiante hasta el año 2008, luego de esto hay reformas en su estructura cambiando así al sistema por competencias, la cual está distribuida por componentes: profesional especifico, básico profesional, básico, humanístico, social e investigativo. Además de esto también encontramos asignaturas, prácticas pre profesional, labor comunitaria y trabajo de titulación lo cual suma el total de créditos que tiene un ciclo. Las asignaturas recibidas en los ciclos pasados no han sido suficientes para formar un profesional competente y de calidad debido a que los conocimientos no llenaron las expectativas que tiene el estudiante en su desempeño laboral. El estudiante al momento de realizar las practicas pre profesional encuentra sus falencias debido a que los conocimientos no están acorde a la realidad que tienen las instituciones de Salud al enfrentarse a diferentes situaciones, retos que tiene la carrera haciéndole incapaz de dar solución a los problemas. Otro problema encontrado en la malla curricular son algunas asignaturas que aportan muy poco en la formación del estudiante. Por esta situación las autoridades buscan solución a los problemas, cambiando el sistema por competencias a un nuevo Enfoque Científico Holístico Configuracional el cual fortalecerá los conocimientos, habilidades y valores que el estudiante adquiere durante su formación. Tomando en cuenta que las asignaturas que se encuentran en esta malla curricular deberían ser analizadas para una mejor formación del estudiante, debido a que en la actualidad las Universidades se encuentran en constante evaluación. El problema se planteó de la siguiente forma: la escasa evaluación a la malla curricular afecta en la formación de licenciadas/os en Ciencias de Enfermería su objetivo general busca evaluar la aplicación periódica de la malla curricular en la formación de las licenciadas/os en Enfermería de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar en la cuidad de Guaranda durante el período 2012 -2013. Consecuentemente podemos encontrar la hipótesis de esta investigación, la misma que se planteó de la siguiente manera: la evaluación periódica a la malla curricular mejora la formación de Licenciadas/os en Ciencias de la Enfermería de la Universidad Estatal de Bolívar en la ciudad de Guaranda, periodo 2012 -2013, a continuación podemos encontrar a la operacionalización de las variables. El capítulo I contiene el marco teórico; aquí se desarrolló toda la teoría relacionada con el tema de investigación, considerando las dos variables de la hipótesis, para poder determinar las causas y efectos del problema y poder realizar la investigación a los estudiantes del séptimo y octavo ciclo; con el fin de buscar alternativas de solución al problema. El capítulo II está integrado por el marco metodológico; en el que se detallan: el tipo de investigación, los métodos, las técnicas a emplearse en la realización del trabajo, así como el universo. El capítulo III corresponde al análisis de los resultados obtenidos en la investigación; aquí se presentan la estadística en un cuadro y su representación gráfica, para proceder al análisis de cada una de las preguntas. Lo que permite realizar la comprobación de la hipótesis, conclusiones y recomendaciones. El capítulo IV asume como propuesta, previo al análisis y sugerencias que permitan enriquecer la malla curricular que contiene el sistema por competencias que pertenece a la escuela de enfermería. En ella se plantea la introducción, los objetivos que se quieren lograr con la propuesta, así como, el desarrollo de la misma, también se encuentra el cronograma de actividades el presupuesto y los resultados de la aplicación de la propuesta, que se ve reflejados en los anexos.

Taking into account that the subjects that are in this curriculum should be analyzed for better training of students, because today the universities are in constant evaluation. The problem arose as follows: the low assessment to the curriculum affects the formation of licensed / os Nursing Science general objective seeks to assess the periodic application of the curriculum in the training of licensed / os Nursing State University of Bolívar in the city of Guaranda during the period 2012 -2013. We can consequently find the hypothesis of this research, the same that was raised as follows: regular assessment to curriculum improvement training Licensed / os in Nursing Sciences at the State University of Bolívar in the city of Guaranda, 2012 -2013 period, then we can find the operationalization of the variables. Chapter I contains the theoretical framework; here all the theory related to the research topic was developed, considering the two variables of the hypothesis, in order to determine the causes and effects of the problem and to perform research to students in seventh and eighth cycle; in order to find alternative solutions to the problem. Chapter II consists of the methodological framework; in which they are as follows: the type of research, methods, techniques to be used in carrying out the work, and the universe. Chapter III relates to the analysis of the results of the investigation; here the statistics are presented in a table and graph, to proceed to the analysis of each of the questions. Allowing for the testing of the hypothesis, conclusions and recommendations. Chapter IV takes as given, prior to analysis and suggestions to enrich the curriculum which contains the system powers belonging to nursing school. It proposes the introduction, the objectives to be achieved with the proposal and the development of it, the schedule of activities is also the budget and the results of the implementation of the proposal, which is reflected in Annexes.
