The purpose of this research work is the ethnographic study of the cultural heritage of the La Magdalena parish, in order to publicize both its cultural traditions such as: festivals, customs, crafts, among other cultural aspects that stand out in their communities through The narration of its inhabitants. The problem that is evidenced by this research, the advancement of technology young people have been losing interest in knowing their ancestral roots, customs and traditions, which leads to older adults cannot transmit their knowledge and experiences to new generations, and they are lost in time, it should be noted that there is no document in the parish where they can be informed. To obtain information is in the narration of young people, adults, senior citizens who have sufficient knowledge and working with focus groups in terms of cultural. At the time of making the focus groups for the older adults of the La Magdalena parish, they specify that their behavior is warm, kind and generous with the people who visit their parish, they like to talk about the events, experiences and stories that they have lived during their childhood and youth. As a result, the necessary information was obtained from the sector for the realization of the final report, this would not have been possible without the support provided by local people to obtain data such as: history of the parish, traditions (via crossings), parties traditional patron saint Santa Maria Magdalena they celebrate every year. In addition to knowing their way of life, beliefs, legends that are part of their daily lives. It should be noted in the parish its traditional games are still maintained at each holiday such as the waxed stick, the enchanted pots that are important for children who participate in a time of joy. This ethnographic work is intended to demonstrate through a documentary that the parish La Magdalena is one of the richest in culture of the Bolivar Province, bearing in mind that the entire population must become aware and continue to maintain these traditions over the years. El presente trabajo de investigación, tiene como propósito, el estudio etnográfico del patrimonio cultural de la parroquia La Magdalena, con el fin de dar a conocer tanto sus tradiciones culturales como: fiestas, costumbres, artesanías entre otros aspectos culturales que resaltan en sus comunidades mediante la narración de sus habitantes. El problema que se evidenció mediante esta investigación, el avance de la tecnología los jóvenes han ido perdiendo el interés por conocer sus raíces, costumbres y tradiciones ancestrales, lo cual conlleva a que los adultos mayores no puedan trasmitir sus conocimientos y experiencias a las nuevas generaciones, y se vayan perdiendo en el tiempo, cabe recalcar que en la parroquia no existe un documento donde puedan informarse. Para la obtención conocimiento y trabajando con grupos focales en cuanto a cultura. Al momento de realizar los grupos focales a los adultos mayores de la parroquia La Magdalena, se observó que el comportamiento de las mismas es cálido, amable y generoso con las personas que visitan su parroquia, a ellos les gusta mucho conversar sobre los acontecimientos, experiencias e historias que ellos han vivido durante su niñez y juventud. de información está en la narración de personas jóvenes, adultos, tercera edad que poseen suficiente Como resultado se obtuvo la información necesaria del sector para la realización del informe final, esto no hubiera sido posible sin el apoyo brindado por las personas de la localidad para la obtención de datos como: historia de la parroquia, tradiciones (vía cruces), fiestas tradicionales de la patrona Santa María Magdalena que celebran cada año. Además de conocer su forma de vida, creencias, leyendas q son parte de su diario vivir. Cabe recalcar en la parroquia aún se mantiene sus juegos tradicionales en cada festividad como el palo encebado, las ollas encantadas que son importantes para los niños quienes comparten un rato de alegría. Con este trabajo etnográfico se pretende evidenciar mediante un documental que la parroquia La Magdalena es una de las más ricas en cultura de la Provincia Bolívar, teniendo en cuenta que toda la población debe concientizarse y seguir manteniendo estas tradiciones con el pasar de los años.
