The development of this case analysis is intended to analyze, present, select and provide the SAINT AND CREDIT COOPERATIVE "SAN PEDRO" LTDA., Which we consider the best option that is adapted to the needs of the institution in Regarding the improvement of technological alternatives in telephony, due to the fact that during the preliminary investigation it was known that there are certain inconveniences regarding the management of institutional communication, such as not being able to make more than one simultaneous call at the same time. that causes discontent in the partners because most of the times they communicate to the institution to confirm transfers they make and the lines are occupied and they can not do what they needed; among other problems that could be evidenced. During the development process of this case analysis a field research study was carried out applying a comparative analysis in the COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO "SAN PEDRO" LTDA., the same one that helped us to recognize all the shortcomings and show all the weaknesses that exist within what refers to the management of communication both internally and externally in the institution. At the same time, it allowed us to analyze the way in which communication is handled and what type of equipment are currently existing within the institution for the development of this activity, likewise it is possible to analyze two types of telephone technology alternatives to replace to the existing PBX that is IP telephony. We find two alternatives within what is VoIP technology (IP telephony), the first that is a proprietary alternative in terms of CISCO equipment handling Cisco Unified Communications Manager software (CUCM) and the other alternative that is software management free as Asteriks and GNU / Linux operating systems, a research was developed for each of these alternatives to know which is the most suitable to apply within the institution's facilities according to their needs and the benefits presented by each of them in terms of implementation costs and equipment characteristics.
El desarrollo del presente análisis de casos tiene el propósito de estudiar, presentar, seleccionar y proporcionar a la COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO “SAN PEDRO” LTDA., la que consideremos la mejor opción en comunicaciones la misma que se adapte a las necesidades de la institución en lo que respecta al mejoramiento de las alternativas tecnológicas en telefonía debido a que durante la investigación preliminar se pudo conocer que existen ciertos inconvenientes en lo que respecta al manejo de la comunicación institucional, como el no poder realizar más de una llamada simultánea a la vez lo que ocasiona descontento en los socios porque la mayoría de ocasiones se comunican a la institución para confirmar transferencias que realizan y las líneas se encuentran ocupadas y con este problema no se puede realizar la actividad requerida; entre otros problemas que se pudo evidenciar. Durante el proceso de desarrollo de este análisis de casos se realizó un estudio de investigación de campo aplicando un análisis comparativo en la COOPERATIVA DE AHORRO Y CRÉDITO “SAN PEDRO” LTDA., el mismo que nos ayudó a reconocer todas las falencias y mostrar todas las debilidades que hay dentro de lo que se refiere al manejo de la comunicación tanto de forma interna como externa en la institución. A su vez, nos permitió analizar la forma en que se maneja la comunicación y que tipo de equipos son los que existen actualmente dentro de la institución para el desarrollo de esta actividad, así mismo se puede analizar dos tipos de alternativas de tecnología telefónica para reemplazar a la ya existente centralita que es la telefonía IP. Encontramos dos alternativas dentro de lo que es tecnología VoIP (telefonía IP), la primera que es una alternativa privativa en lo que se refiere a equipos CISCO manejando el software Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) y la otra alternativa que es de manejo de software libre como Asteriks y sistemas operativos GNU/Linux, se desarrolló una investigación para cada una de estas alternativas para saber cuál de ellas es la más idónea de aplicar dentro de las instalaciones de la institución de acuerdo a sus necesidades y los beneficios que presenten cada una de ellas en lo que referente a costos de implementación y características de los equipos.
