This investigative and practical work arose as a need for the Ángel Polibio Chaves Educational Unit in the canton of Guaranda, in the province of Bolívar, because the activities that are carried out with respect to the control and monitoring of the students' academic reports are developed in a manual way, liberating the use of new information and communication technologies in these processes. The start of the technological proposal went through several phases such as analysis, design, product development, pilot testing, evaluation and improvement, all these stages involved activities of vital importance to obtain a comprehensive product and provide a solution to the problematic detected. In the end a computer system was developed to control the academic reports through the web as a result of the educational technology proposal raised as a general objective, so the actors of the educational community have the efficient, effective and accurate application to inform their representatives of the academic performance of their students. 
Este trabajo investigativo y práctico surge como necesidad de Unidad Educativa Ángel Polibio Chaves en el cantón Guaranda, de la provincia Bolívar, por cuanto las actividades que se efectúa con respecto al control y seguimiento de los reportes académicos de los estudiantes son desarrollados en forma manual liberando la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías de información y comunicación en estos procesos. El inicio de la propuesta tecnológica pasó por varias fases tales como el análisis, el diseño, el desarrollo del producto, la prueba piloto, la evaluación y mejoramiento, todas estas etapas involucraron actividades de vital importancia para obtener un producto integral y dar solución a la problemática detectada. Al final se desarrolló un sistema informático para controlar los reportes académicos a través de la web como fruto de la propuesta tecnológica educativa planteada como objetivo general, así los actores de la comunidad educativa cuentan con la aplicación eficiente, eficaz y precisa para informar a sus representantes del rendimiento académica de sus estudiantes.
