The aim of this research work is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and intercultural contents through the application of ethnoteatro techniques in secondary students of an educational unit in the Otavalo canton. The methodology used has a qualitative character oriented to collect data from the subjectivities of the participants. The data collection techniques are based on the combination of ethnographic tools (participant observation, field annotations, semi-structured interviews and focus group) and arts-based research (etnoteatro). The research has a descriptive and phenomenological scope that allows to investigate in depth the phenomenon of the diffusion of interculturality through theatrical exercises.
El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo diseñar una guía instruccional para la difusión de conocimientos y contenidos interculturales mediante la aplicación de técnicas del etnoteatro en estudiantes secundarios de una unidad educativa del cantón Otavalo. La metodología aplicada fue de carácter cualitativo orientado a recolectar datos a partir de las subjetividades de los participantes. Las técnicas de recolección de datos se basaron en la combinación de herramientas propias de la etnografía (observación participante, anotaciones de campo, entrevistas semiestructuradas y grupo focal) y la investigación basada en artes (etnoteatro). La investigación contó con un alcance fenomenológico que permite indagar a profundidad el fenómeno de la difusión de la interculturalidad mediante ejercicios teatrales.
