In the present research project, the participation of women in the application of indigenous justice in the Quinchuquí community was analyzed, so it was proposed to create a guide for the participation of indigenous women. In the first chapter, bibliographic information is collected to theoretically support the application of indigenous justice in Ecuador and the social participation of women, in the international and national context. In the second chapter the methodology was developed, the methods were analytical, synthetic, historical, inductive, the techniques and instruments applied were surveys and interviews. In the third chapter the results are analyzed, it is evident that in the application of indigenous justice the social participation of women is scarce, therefore, it was necessary to elaborate a guide of orientation for the participation within the indigenous justice on the part of the Kichwa otavalo woman. In the fourth chapter, the validation of the proposal was carried out within the Quinchuquí community, which considers it necessary. In conclusion, there is a low social participation of the Kichwa women within the indigenous justice system in the Quinchuquí community. Since gender equity is a right and without any discrimination, women must be involved in the different activities, not only to be passive members, but women must be motivated to be an active part in the application of indigenous justice.
En el presente proyecto de investigación se analizó la participación de la mujer en la aplicación de la justicia indígena en la comunidad Quinchuquí, por lo que se propuso crear una guía para la participación de la mujer indígena. En el primer capítulo se recopila la información bibliográfica para sustentar teóricamente la aplicación de la justicia indígena en Ecuador y la participación social de la mujer, en el contexto internacional y nacional. En el capítulo segundo se desarrolló la metodología, los métodos fueron analítico, sintético, histórico, inductivo, las técnicas e instrumentos aplicados fueron encuestas y entrevistas. En el tercer capítulo se analizan los resultados, se evidencia que en la aplicación de la justicia indígena la participación social de la mujer es escasa, por ello, fue necesario elaborar una guía de orientación para la participación dentro de la justicia indígena por parte de la mujer kichwa otavalo. En el cuarto capítulo se realizó la validación de la propuesta dentro de la comunidad Quinchuquí que la considera necesaria. En conclusión, existe una baja participación social de la mujer kichwa dentro de la justicia indígena en la comunidad Quinchuquí. Al ser un derecho la equidad de género y sin discriminación alguna, se debe involucrar a las mujeres en las diferentes actividades, no solo a ser miembros pasivos, sino hay que motivar a las mujeres a ser parte activa en la aplicación de la justica indígena.
