The growth of cities has led architecture to forget about it’s users. A constant search for expansion without considering the everyday aspects of each project and the impact this may generate in their environment and most importantly in its users, architecture has been developing shallow projects. Each project must consider not only the programmatic demands but environmental demands. Along with the expansion of the city, some theories have being developed in order to establish "good architecture". These works seek to establish not only technical and functional parameters, but also of sensory character. By allowing users to connect with each project and create memories, it becomes part of them. Theories of Zumthor and atmospheres of architecture highlight the ability of materials to create memories and connect with the user. Similarly Bernard Tschumi established theories of place and non-place, denoting the need for each project to allow the appropriation of the users. Without the activity of users, a space does not become a "place" it remains a "non-place" without memory space that does not exist for users.
El crecimiento de las ciudades ha llevado a la arquitectura a olvidar a los usuarios. Una constante busqueda de expanción sin considerar los aspectos cotidianos de cada proyecto y el impacto que este puede generar en su entorno y mas importante aun en sus usuarios, ha llevado a la arquitectura ha desarrollar proyectos vacios. Cada proyecto debe considerar no solo las demandas programaticas sino las demandas del entorno. A lo largo del desarrollo de la ciudad han surguido teorias con la finalidad de establecer la “ buena arquitectura”. Estos trabajos buscan establecer parametros no solo tecnicos y funcionales, sino también de carácter sensorial, sentimental. Al permitir que los usuarios se conecten con cada proyecto y generen recuerdos, el mismo se vuelve parte de ellos. Las teorias de Zumthor y las atmósferas de la arquitectura resaltan la capacidad de los materiales de generar memorias y conectarse con el usuario. De igual manera Bernard Tschumi establece las teorias del lugar y el no-lugar, que denotan la necesidad de cada proyecto de permitir la apropiacion de los usuarion. Sin la actividad de los usuarios en un espacio este no se convierte en “lugar” permanece como un “no-lugar” un espacio sin memorias que no existe para los usuarios.
