Description: EMBRACE THE VOID is a dark humor short film that follows Gris, a girl in her 20s, who’s perfectionist, lonely, afflicted with debts and failed expectations, and whose only company is Ludovico, her dog. One day he can't stand her condition anymore so she decides to take his own life: leaves her documents in order and attempts suicide. However, the appearance of someone who introduces himself as "death’s helper" will lead her to rethink her destiny. A story that explores depression, nonconformity, pessimism, and the fragility of mental health, all from a humor away from mockery and turned to the self-critical reflection of what has become a topic of great relevance...
EMBRACE THE VOID es un cortometraje de humor negro que sigue a Gris, una chica en sus 20s, perfeccionista, solitaria, aquejada por deudas y expectativas fallidas, cuya única compañía es su perro Ludovico. Un día no soporta más su condición así que decide quitarse la vida: ordena sus documentos y realiza su primer intento de suicidio. Sin embargo, la aparición de alguien que se presenta ante ella como “la muerte” la llevará a replantearse su destino. Una historia que explora temáticas como la depresión, la inconformidad, el pesimismo, y la fragilidad de la salud mental, todo desde un humor alejado de la burla y volcado hacia la reflexión autocrítica de aquello que se ha convertido en un tema de suma relevancia...
