Reciclaje : nuevos usos para espacios existentes: caso: Centro cultural para jóvenes

Description: Nowadays, there are a lot of places in the south of Quito that are forgotten and abandoned such as Chimbacalle. This sector placed in the middle-south of the city, represented, years ago, the most important industrial sector of Quito, in which there were big and important factories. Unfortunately, lots of them are at the moment abandoned and in a bad condition and besides contributing with a disgusting image to the sector and city, their importance has been ignored for a long time without having taken into account a possible reutilization and recycling.
Existen muchos lugares en el sur de Quito, que actualmente se encuentran en un total olvido y abandono como es el caso de Chimbacalle. Este sector ubicado en el centro sur de la ciudad, hace muchos años representó el sector industrial más importante de Quito. Es así, como en él se encontraban grandes e importantes fábricas de renombre. Lamentablemente, muchas de ellas actualmente se encuentran abandonadas y en mal estado y que además de contribuir con una imagen desagradable al sector y a la ciudad, su importancia ha sido ignorada por muchos años, sin haber tomado en cuenta su posible reutilización o reciclaje.
