As the city grows districts and sectors are consolidating, as well as urban voids that with the passage of time are forgotten because of their inconvenient forms, size or location, without considering their capacity to develop. The tactics of infiltration are used as methodology that seeks these voids in order to potentiate sectors that are disabled. The proposed area is Quitumbe with the purpose of recover the old factories that characterize the place and creating an Interactive Museum of Chocolate, taking into account the importance of cocoa in the history and economy of Ecuador. It is noteworthy that the infiltration tactics proposed in the project are open to the changing environment around us. The spaces constantly change and are redefined by the use given by humans, so it gets highlighted how users appropriate space with different activities. The recovery strategy is equivalent to the theory proposed in order that the action to be potentialized multiplies to improve the urban quality of the sector.
A medida que va creciendo la ciudad se van consolidando barrios y sectores, así como también vacíos urbanos que con el paso del tiempo son olvidados por sus formas inconvenientes, tamaño o ubicación; sin considerar su capacidad a desarrollar. Como metodología se utilizan las tácticas de infiltración que buscan dichos vacíos con el fin de potencializar sectores que se encuentran desactivados. El sector que se propone reactivar es Quitumbe recuperando las viejas fábricas que caracterizan al lugar y creando un Museo Interactivo de Chocolate, tomando en cuenta la importancia que tiene el cacao en la historia y economía del Ecuador. Es importante mencionar que las tácticas de infiltración que se proponen en el proyecto están abiertas al entorno cambiante que nos rodea. Los espacios constantemente cambian y se redefinen por el uso dado por los seres humanos, por lo cual se pone relieve a cómo los usuarios se apropian del espacio por diferentes actividades. La estrategia de recuperación es equivalente a la teoría propuesta con el fin de que dicha acción al ser potencializada se multiplique para mejorar la calidad urbana del sector.
