Uso de terapia de pareja con enfoque de terapia humanista en una pareja con insatisfacción matrimonial

Description: This study case describes a Couple Therapy with a view of Humanistic Therapy applied to a couple with unsatisfied marital life. The patients do not present any type of psychopathology described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV-TR). Among the mayor marital problems were found: trouble in marital dialogue, distrust and emotional distancing. The treatment consisted of 15 therapy sessions, each session lasted two hours. The detailed treatment process will be described in the study case.
El presente estudio de caso tiene por objetivo describir cómo la Terapia de Pareja con un enfoque Humanista fue utilizada en el tratamiento de una pareja con insatisfacción emocional. Los pacientes no presentaban ningún tipo de psicopatología o desorden mental descrito en el Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV-TR). En la dinámica relacional de esta pareja se pudo distinguir y trabajar en tres problemas específicos que son: falta de dialogo, falta de confianza y distanciamiento emocional. El tratamiento consistió en 15 sesiones de terapia, cada sesión duró aproximadamente dos horas y media.
