Terapia humanista a una mujer con indecisión laboral y preocupación por los miedos de su hijo: Caso de estudio

Description: This study is based on the application of humanistic therapy to a forty-year-old woman named Cristina. We performed the SCL Symptom Test 90 of LR Derogatis and the results show that she does not have a disease that is diagnosed in the Diagnostic of Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV). The client arrived with the complaint that since a few months ago her son has developed a fear of being alone and this does not allow her to go to work. She has also expressed a desire to find something that motivates her to work because she is tired of doing the same job and being in an office. We performed a treatment of ten sessions in which the first five were dedicated to the client and her son.
Este estudio de caso se basa en la realización de Terapia Humanista a una mujer de aproximadamente cuarenta años de edad. Se le realizó a Cristina el Test de Síntomas SCL 90 de L.R. Derogatis, los resultados muestran que no tiene una patología diagnosticada que se encuentre en el Diagnostic of Statistical Manual of Mental disorders (DSM-IV). La cliente llega a la consulta con la demanda de que su hijo desde hace algunos meses presenta miedo a quedarse solo, esto no le permite a ella salir a trabajar. Su segunda demanda es que quiere encontrar algo que le apasione para volver a trabajar, debido a que está cansada de hacer lo mismo y estar en una oficina. Se realizó un tratamiento de diez sesiones en las cuales las cinco primeras se dedicó a la clienta y su hijo.
