The thesis work that will be presented here is about the incorporation of an interactive narrative to an Ecuadorian tale called “La Gillette”. This interactive narrative was made with RPG Maker. This software allows the use of many sources to create an RPG game or a narrative. This narrative is structured in a common shape of a videogame. That means that the user can control the character of the story without limits in the narrative. Also, the user can choose between many paths that leads to many consequences and endings in the narrative. The main goal is that the user will experiment the content of the original story through the adaptation of a videogame with the same vibe of the original tale, to caught the attention of younger people for Ecuadorian literature
El siguiente trabajo de tesis presentado a continuación es acerca de la implementación de una narrativa interactiva a un cuento ecuatoriano, llamado La Gillette escrita por el autor Abdón Ubidia. Esta narrativa interactiva se la ha realizado a través del software RPG Maker, este software permite la utilización de varios recursos para crear un videojuego enfocado en temática RPG o para realizar narrativas. Esta narrativa está estructurada en forma de videojuego, es decir, el usuario podrá controlar al personaje libremente dentro de la narrativa, además, se podrá escoger diferentes caminos de la historia, los cuales llevan a diversos finales y consecuencias dentro de la narrativa. El objetivo es que el usuario experimente el contenido de la historia original mediante una adaptación a videojuego, la cual tiene la misma esencia que el cuento, y que se despierte el interés por la literatura ecuatoriana por parte de jóvenes adolescentes y jóvenes adultos.
