The present work is based on several skills and abilities that have been developed during the career of Education at the University San Francisco de Quito. It is divided into four sections: Academic Research and Writing, Teaching, Educational Leadership and Participation in the Gestation and Implementation of Educational Policies. Within each of these sections are different artifacts that evidence the teaching-learning process that has been acquired throughout the career. The first section develops a case study on how to introduce literacy and what strategies are used to teach this in a second language, base don children who are in kindergarten in a school of total immersion to English whose mother tongue is Spanish. In the second section, there are plans of both unit and selected topics where it is evidenced the development of the same by means of a video. In the third section we can observe the performance of other teachers within the educational field and provide feedback to improve their strategies applied within the classroom. Finally, in the fourth section, an in-depth analysis of one of the problems of education within Ecuador was carried out, thus providing a viable and effective solution.
El presente trabajo se basa en varias habilidades y destrezas que se han ido desarrollando durante la carrera de Educación en la Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Esta se divide en cuatro secciones que son, Investigación y Escritura Académica, Docencia, Liderazgo Educativo y Participación en la Gestación e Implementación de Políticas Educativas. Dentro de cada una de estas secciones se encuentran diferentes artefactos que evidencian el proceso de enseñana-aprendizaje que se ha adquirido a lo largo de la carrera. En la primera sección se desarrolla un estudio de caso sobre cómo se introduce la lectoescritura y qué estrategias se utilizan para enseñar esta en una segunda lengua, a niños que están en Kinder en una escuela de inmersion total al ingles cuya lengua materna es el español. En la segunda sección, se encuentran planificaciones tanto de unidad como de temas seleccionados donde se ve evidenciado el desarrollo de las mismas por medio de un video. En la tercera sección se puede observar el desempeño de otros maestros dentro del ambito educativo y se proporciona una retroalimentaciòn para mejorar sus estrategias aplicadas dentro del aula. Por último, en la cuarta sección se realizó un análisis profundo sobre uno de los problemas de educación dentro del Ecuador, aportando asì mismo con una soluciòn viable y efectiva.
