Geographic Information Systems have become a tool of analysis, diagnosis, management, zoning, and planning that identify essential elements to establish sustainable processes for the benefit of the territory HAMURU as project implemented by the Foundation Eng. Juan José Castelló Zambrano, implemented a Geographic Information System (GIS) in order to integrate the geographical aspects with the social reality of the stocks that are in the area of influence of Juan José Castelló Zambrano Education Unit. The SIG was established as the mainstay for the generation of the baseline on which strategies work be defined in the population of the seven municipalities that make up the area of influence of HAMURU. The characteristic of this SIG was the participatory process about 200 volunteers who contributed to the collection, processing and analysis of sociodemographic characteristics on education setting. This Research, along the HAMURU project, is proposed as an innovative educational practice model in socio- logic that seeks the good life through a process of inclusive, equitable, participatory and based on a plan to measure progress, challenges and scope local economic development plan to measure progress, challenges and scope so that integrate the geographical relationship between the different actors of the territory and develop a website on the internet through tools such as OGC5 WMS6, WFS7 and GML8 language support to display all the benefits relevant to the project and its actors and its immediate neighborhood, is one of the main objectives, as well as the generation of thematic maps that allow the identification of projects according to the needs of the population.
Los Sistemas de Información Geográfico, se han convertido en una herramienta de análisis, diagnóstico, gestión, zonificación, y planificación que permiten identificar elementos esenciales para establecer procesos sustentables en beneficio del territorio. HAMURU, como proyecto ejecutado por La Fundación Ing. Agr. Juan José Castelló Zambrano, implementó un Sistema de Información Geográfica (SIG) con la finalidad de integrar los aspectos geográficos con la realidad social de las poblaciones que se encuentran en el área de influencia de la Unidad Educativa del Milenio Ing. Juan José Castelló Zambrano. Este SIG se constituyó como el pilar para la generación de la línea base sobre la cual se definirían estrategias de trabajo en la población de las siete comunas que forman parte del área de influencia de HAMURU. Lo característico de este SIG fue el proceso participativo en el que colaboraron aproximadamente 200 voluntarios para el levantamiento, procesamiento y análisis de las características sociodemográficas en marco de educación. Esta investigación, junto al proyecto HAMURU, se propone como un modelo innovador en la práctica educativa, en la lógica socioproductiva y que busca el buen vivir mediante un proceso de desarrollo económico local incluyente, equitativo, participativo y basado en un plan que permita medir avances, retos y alcances por lo que, el integrar geográficamente la relación entre los diferentes actores del territorio y desarrollar un portal en el internet a través de las herramientas de la OGC1 como son WMS2, WFS3 y con la ayuda del lenguaje GML4 que muestre todas las bondades pertinentes al proyecto, así como sus actores y su entorno geográfico, es uno de los principales objetivos, así como la generación de mapas temáticos que permitan la identificación de proyectos acorde a las necesidades de la población.
