The subject of the thesis arose as a result of interest in electronic money that was presented in the different classes of finance and due to the initiative of the Central Bank to carry out the project. The importance of a tool as it is, which may be essential to increase the dynamics of the economy and include in the financial system for poor people who had been excluded for various reasons. With this premise we look out for support by central bank officials who guided and provided information about electronic money and the way in which it will be applied to the country. As the ECB opened and shared valuable information, several cooperatives gave their views on this new payment method and the advantages that it can bring to society. The detailed results of the investigation will be found throughout the development of this thesis.
El tema de la siguiente tesis surgió como resultado del interés en el Dinero Electrónico que fue presentado en las diferentes clases de finanzas y debido a la iniciativa del Banco Central por llevar a cabo dicho proyecto. Se comprendió la importancia que tiene una herramienta como está, la cual puede ser fundamental para incrementar la dinámica de la economía e incluir dentro del sistema financiero a personas de escasos recursos que habían sido excluidas por diferentes motivos. Con la premisa anterior se buscó el apoyo de funcionarios del Banco Central los cuales guiaron y brindaron información acerca del dinero electrónico y la manera en la que va a ser aplicado al país. Así como el BCE abrió sus puertas y compartió información muy valiosa, varias cooperativas brindaron sus puntos de vista sobre este nuevo método de pago y los benéficos que este puede brindar a la sociedad. Los resultados detallados de la investigación se podrán encontrar a lo largo del desarrollo de esta tesis.
