This work was carried out with the main objective of providing an important amount of educational and demonstrative material for the use and learning of future generations of students in the career of automotive electromechanical engineering at USFQ. It is vitally important to impart the knowledge acquired during the time of studies in order to leave a legacy to new professionals. The chapters preceding this summary detail the operation of a manual gearbox belonging to a Chevrolet Vitara 4 x 4 through the use of a technique of cross-section in the casing of the same. This technique gives us the opportunity to see, how the components and parts of the gearbox work, the way that pieces work together for the fulfillment of the purpose for which they were designed. In this way, comprehension and understanding is more direct and pedagogical due to its high innovative content. The future student may perceive in a more accurate way the mechanics and dynamics incorporated in a manual gearbox, thus, making a positive contribution to the achievement of significant skills for his college career.
Este trabajo se realizó con el principal objetivo de aportar una importante suma de material didáctico y demostrativo para el uso y aprendizaje de las futuras generaciones de estudiantes en la carrera de electromecánica automotriz de la USFQ. Es de vital importancia impartir el conocimiento adquirido durante el tiempo de estudios para así dejar un legado en virtud de nuevos profesionales. Los capítulos que preceden este resumen detallan el funcionamiento de una caja de cambios manual perteneciente a un vehículo Chevrolet Vitara 4x4, mediante el uso de una técnica de corte transversal en la carcasa de la misma. Esta técnica, nos brinda la oportunidad de comprobar de forma visual, cómo los componentes y partes de la caja de cambios funcionan, la forma en que sus piezas trabajan entre sí para el cumplimiento del propósito para el cual fueron diseñadas. De ésta forma, la comprensión y entendimiento se presenta de forma más directa y pedagógica debido a su alto contenido innovador. El futuro estudiante, podrá percibir con mayor precisión la mecánica y dinámica incorporada en la una caja de cambios manual, dejando así, un aporte positivo para la consecución de destrezas significativas en virtud de su carrera universitaria.
