This thesis shows the analysis of the work composed by saxophonist Be-bop Charlie Parker, Dexterity. In this detailed study which is located divided into three chapters. The first is a melodic analysis, which details what types of notes and chromatic approaches were chosen by Parker, when compose the theme tune; as well as motivic development and phrasing musical. The second is a harmonic analysis, which shows what kind of progressions are written in the score and how they work within the harmonic context. Within this chapter also shows which modes are implemented in the melodyof the work and its relationship with chord symbols of it. Finally, in the third Chapter morphological analysis of the issue is evident. This analysis is performed by comparison with the composition made by George Gershwin "I got rhythm ".
La presente tesina muestra el análisis de la obra compuesta por el saxofonista de Be-bop Charlie Parker, Dexterity. En esta se encuentra un estudio detallado el cual está dividido en tres capítulos. El primero de ellos es un análisis melódico, el cual detalla qué tipos de notas y aproximaciones cromáticas fueron elegidas por Parker, al momento decomponer la melodía del tema; así como también el desarrollo motívico y su fraseo musical. El segundo es un análisis armónico, el cual muestra qué tipo de progresiones están escritas en la partitura y de qué manera funcionan dentro del contexto armónico. Dentro de este capítulo también se muestra qué modos están implementados en la melodía de la obra y su relación con el cifrado de acordes de la misma. Por último, en el tercer capítulo se evidencia un análisis morfológico del tema. Dicho análisis es realizado mediante una comparación con la composición hecha por George Gershwin “I got rhythm”.
