El sector de cuero y calzado juega un papel fundamental en la economía del país, este consolida una gran parte del movimiento económico de la región pero hay un aspecto fundamental el cual las empresas con dicha actividad económica han delimitado. Para el estudio analizo las curtidurías TUNGURAHUA S.A y PROMEPELL S.A, las mismas que han reflejado un descuido en la auditoría ambiental de dichas organizaciones. Además de esto se pudo determinar las falencias que las empresas tienen en sus procesos y en si en el ámbito medio ambiental, las empresas en si son estables y generan utilidades apreciables para seguir adelante con lo referente a su actividad económica, pero la misma podría mejorar si las organizaciones incursionan en planes medioambientales y de salvaguardias a fin de asegurar su futuro y el de la organización en sí. La auditoría ambiental garantiza el crecimiento y desarrollo económico de las instituciones apoyada en las salvaguardias medio ambientales que le proporciona a la organización a fin de mejorar sus procesos al momento de reutilizar su materia prima.
The leather and footwear sector plays a key role in the economy, this consolidates much of the economic movement in the region but there is a fundamental aspect which business to that economic activity have been identified. To study I analyze the tanneries Tungurahua Promepell SA and SA, the same that have reflected an oversight in the environmental audit of these organizations. Besides this it was possible to identify gaps that companies have in their processes and whether in the environmental field, companies themselves are stable and generate appreciable to proceed with regard to his business profits, but the same could improve if organizations are starting in environmental and safeguards to ensure their future plans and the organization itself. Environmental audits ensure economic growth and development of institutions supported by the environmental safeguards that gives the organization to improve its processes when reuse raw materials.
