Los Cuerpos de Bomberos a nivel mundial son entidades dedicadas tradicional y principalmente al servicio de extinción de incendios de las comunidades donde acentúan sus estaciones, adicionalmente a este servicio también han ejercido labores en materia de rescate o salvamento de bienes materiales y no materiales. Del mismo modo realizan labores en prevención de situaciones de riesgo para salvaguardar la integridad física de las personas y bienes que se encuentren bajo su jurisdicción, en ocasiones colaborando operativamente con compañeros de otras instituciones que soliciten su apoyo. Es por tal motivo que el presente proyecto se ha enfocado en realizar un estudio profundo del estado situacional operativo de los Cuerpos de Bomberos de la Provincia de Tungurahua, con el fin de poder aportar con propuestas innovadoras en materia de rotación de personal, para de esta manera equilibrar las cargas laborales a las cuales se encuentran expuestos. Los datos arrojados en las entrevistas realizadas a los Jefes Operativos de las instituciones en estudio, nos indican que el desempeño laboral está asociado a varios factores y qué a la vez, inciden en la rotación del personal de la empresa tanto en las guardias como en las compañías, y que este tipo de estudios jamás se los han realizado dentro de las instituciones Por lo tanto, la propuesta presentada de la presente investigación está enfocada en distribuir las cargas laborales, en base a los índices de emergencias diarias, las capacidades operativas y la caracterización situacional de cada estación en general.
The Fire Brigade worldwide are entities dedicated traditionally and mainly to the firefighting service of the communities where they emphasize their stations, in addition to this service they have also worked in rescue or salvage of material and non-material goods. In the same way, they carry out work in the prevention of risk situations to safeguard the physical integrity of the people and goods that are under their jurisdiction, sometimes collaborating operatively with colleagues from other institutions that request their support. It is for this reason that the present project has focused on conducting an in-depth study of the operational situation status of the Fire Department of the Province of Tungurahua, in order to be able to contribute with innovative proposals regarding personnel rotation, for this way to balance the workloads to which they are exposed. The data shown in the interviews with the Chief Operating Officers of the institutions under study indicate that the work performance is associated with several factors and, at the same time, these affect the rotation of the company's personnel, both in the guards and companies, and that this type of studies has never been carried out within the institutions. The presented proposal of the present investigation is focused on distributing labor burdens, based on daily emergency rates, operational capacities and situational states of each station in general.
